Welcome to Skip Hire Stockwell. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services. By hiring a skip from us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
- Service Provider: Skip Hire Stockwell.
- Customer: The individual or entity hiring the skip.
- Skip: The waste container provided by the Service Provider.
2. Booking and Payment
To book a skip, the Customer must provide accurate and complete information. Upon booking, a confirmation will be sent to the Customer detailing the order.
2.1 Payment Terms
Payment is required upfront unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards and bank transfers. All payments must be made in full before the skip is delivered.
2.2 Pricing
Prices are subject to change without notice. The quoted price includes delivery, collection, and standard removal of waste. Additional services may incur extra charges.
3. Delivery and Collection
The Service Provider will deliver and collect the skip to the address provided by the Customer. Delivery times are estimates and subject to availability.
3.1 Installation
The skip will be placed on the driveway or a suitable hard surface. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure access to the installation point is clear.
3.2 Collection
The skip will be collected once the agreed rental period has elapsed or upon request by the Customer. The Service Provider reserves the right to extend the rental period if necessary.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure the skip is placed in an appropriate location.
- Do not overload the skip beyond its capacity.
- Secure hazardous or bulky items and inform the Service Provider in advance.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding waste disposal.
4.1 Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited from being disposed of in the skip:
- Chemicals and hazardous waste
- Electrical appliances
- Asbestos-containing materials
- Medicines and pharmaceuticals
5. Liability
Skip Hire Stockwell is not liable for any damage to property or injury that occurs as a result of the skip placement, usage, or removal, except where caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.
5.1 Insurance
Customers are advised to have adequate insurance coverage for any potential damages. The Service Provider holds liability insurance, but it does not cover personal belongings or third-party property.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Customers may cancel their booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery without penalty. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a fee.
6.1 Refund Policy
Refunds will be processed for cancellations made in accordance with our policy. If the skip has been delivered and used, refunds may not be available.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
8. Amendments
Skip Hire Stockwell reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers are encouraged to review the terms periodically.
9. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such invalidity shall not render the entire agreement unenforceable. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
10. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and Skip Hire Stockwell regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
